CAIO Academy: Chief AI Officer, Implementation Strategy [EN]

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. In most companies today, AI looks the same: a few scattered pilots, enthusiasts who “played with ChatGPT,” a couple of dashboards — and a complete lack of system. No one calculates ROI, no one owns the strategy, and no one is accountable for results. The CEO hears about AI at every conference, but inside the company, AI is chaos without ownership. That’s exactly why the role of CAIO — Chief AI Officer exists. Not another technical director. Not a Head of Data with a new title. But a C-level leader who turns AI from hype into a manageable business asset with clear value, measurable ROI, and controlled risks.CAIO: Chief AI Officer is a 6-session course by Mike, who has trained 150,000+ professionals across 185 countries and built the HR system at Preply on its way to a $1.2B valuation. This is not a course about prompts and tools. This is a course about strategy, priorities, and managing AI at the board level. What makes this course different: AI is treated as a C-level responsibility, not an IT experiment. You will get frameworks, checklists, and templates that you can adapt to your company the very next day.Session 1 defines the CAIO role: scope of responsibility, KPI, position in the org structure, and differences from CIO, CTO, and CDO. Why companies without AI ownership lose time and money.Session 2 dives into AI strategy: how to align it with business goals, identify use cases across the value chain, choose between build, buy, or partner, and present the strategy to the CEO and board.Session 3 focuses on prioritization: AI initiatives vs AI products, quick wins vs long-term projects, when to scale and when to shut down. Real cases from HR, finance, marketing, sales, and operations.Session 4 covers the foundation: data readiness, MLOps, LLMs, agents at the C-level, internal models vs external platforms, vendor lock-in, and collaboration with IT and Data teams.Session 5 is about people and culture: how AI transforms roles and jobs, upskilling vs reskilling, resistance to AI, building an AI culture, and who you actually need to hire into the CAIO team.Session 6 closes the loop: legal, ethical, and reputational risks, AI governance, how to measure AI ROI, CAIO KPIs, common failures in AI transformation, and how the role will evolve over the next 3–5 years.Companies without a CAIO will spend millions on chaotic AI experiments with no results. Companies with a CAIO will manage AI as a strategic asset that generates measurable value. The gap between the two will only grow.Don’t wait until your competitors appoint their CAIO.
