HR Records Management: Audit-Ready Employee Files, 70 Tools

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. An auditor walks in tomorrow and asks for one employee's file. Can you produce it in five minutes, complete and correctly separated? Here are 70 tools to make sure you can: 46 ready-to-use checklists, templates and procedures, 5 models and methods and 19 working files. Open a lecture, take the personnel file structure, and check one file today. Why employee files fail an audit Documents are scattered between folders and inboxes, confidential and personal data are mixed, nobody knows how long to keep what, and the audit becomes a week of searching. What changes after this course Every file has the same structure, lifecycle events produce the right documents, retention is scheduled, and the HR audit is a routine check. What is inside: 70 tools, counted lecture by lecture You do not have to take this number on trust. Open any lecture and read its description: every tool inside is listed there by name.

36 downloadable resources: lecture presentations plus 19 working files, including a personnel file structure, a retention and destruction schedule, country playbooks and an HR audit report template 46 ready-to-use tools inside the presentations: 12 step-by-step procedures: employee lifecycle audit, personnel file self-audit, employee exit documentation, secure document destruction 9 templates and sample documents: document storage passport, retention and destruction schedule, HR audit report, annual HR audit calendar 9 ready AI prompts: lifecycle documentation mapping, country playbook creation, personnel file checklist creation, audit gap recommendations 7 scorecards, rubrics and matrices: personnel file access matrix, lifecycle event documentation map, absence documentation matrix, audit gap traffic-light prioritization 4 question lists and scripts, plus 3 checklists, 1 other working tool and 1 metric set: audit readiness reflection, HR audit interviews across three audiences, personnel file structure, hiring documentation, HR audit metrics and benchmarks, confidential vs personal file separator 5 models and methods explained with examples: GDPR data protection principles, SHRM’s three HR audit levels, evidence-based HR audit

Who is teaching I am Mike, the #1 HR instructor on Udemy, with 1,800,000+ course enrollments from 170,000 students, and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. I built the people system at Preply as it became a unicorn and worked at Wargaming, iDeals and Alfa-Bank across 20 years in HR. I hold PHRi, SHRM-CP and HCI sHRBP certifications and represent HRCI in Eastern Europe. At the STB TV channel HR fixed a time slot for each new employee's paperwork. Nothing else was scheduled for it, all data and contracts were prepared in advance, and nobody waited in a queue. Good records management is invisible to employees: the documents are ready when the person arrives. How to use the course Go through the three sections in order: files, audit readiness, then the audit playbook. Section and lecture titles show how many tools are inside, and each lecture description lists them by name. What is included
