n8n AI Automation: Build Agents, RAG, MCP & Workflows

Learn n8n by actually building with it.If you’ve been hearing about n8n, AI agents, automation, RAG, MCP, and voice AI but aren’t sure how all the pieces fit together, this course will take you from the very beginning to building real systems you can actually use.You don’t need to be a programmer, and you don’t need previous n8n experience.Start with the fundamentalsWe’ll start with the fundamentals: how n8n works, how workflows are structured, how triggers and nodes communicate, how to connect your accounts, and how to take an automation live. But we won’t stay in theory for long. Very quickly, you’ll start building. You’ll create an AI-powered daily briefing, automate lead intake and routing, send leads into a CRM, work with webhooks and APIs, process lists with loops, and build proper error handling so your automations don’t silently break.Bring AI into your workflowsYou’ll build a system that can read and organize your inbox with AI, identify important messages, apply labels, and generate intelligent drafts based on your own rules. From there, we’ll go deeper into RAG and AI assistants. You’ll create a chatbot with memory, build a knowledge base from your own documents, automatically sync information from Google Drive, and deploy an assistant that can answer questions using your data.Build AI agents that can take actionYou’ll build an agent that can work with your calendar, email, and CRM, give it the ability to take actions, and add human approval when a decision shouldn’t be fully automated. You’ll also build a voice AI agent that can handle phone conversations, capture information from calls, and push that data directly into your CRM.And because the way we build automations is changing quickly, you’ll also learn how to use AI coding agents and MCP with n8n, including connecting an AI agent directly to your n8n workspace and using it to help create and work with workflows.Learn how to think about automationBy the end of the course, you’ll understand not just how to use n8n, but how to think about automation. You’ll know how to look at a repetitive business process, break it into steps, decide what should be automated, connect the right tools, add AI where it genuinely helps, and turn the whole thing into a working system. Some of the things you’ll buildAn AI daily briefingAutomated lead intake and smart routingCRM automationsAPI and webhook workflowsAn AI-powered email organizerAI-generated email drafts with VIP rulesA RAG chatbot trained on your own knowledgeAn automatically synced knowledge baseA calendar, email, and CRM AI assistantHuman-in-the-loop AI workflowsAn AI voice agentAutomated call-data capture and CRM updatesWorkflows built with n8n’s AI Buildern8n integrations using MCPSub-workflows and shared memoryA self-hosted n8n setupA complete lead-generation automation systemThe course is designed around building rather than passive theory. The supporting outline also includes hands-on exercises, reusable workflow templates, quizzes, and reference material so students can apply what they learn rather than simply watch it.Who this course is forThis course is a good fit if you’re a:Business owner who wants to automate repetitive work without relying on developers for every small system.Freelancer or consultant who wants to build automations for yourself or your clients.Marketer, operator, or sales professional looking to connect the tools you already use and eliminate manual work.AI enthusiast who wants to move beyond prompting and start building AI systems that can actually take actions.Complete beginner who wants a structured path into n8n without getting buried in technical jargon. You can start with no previous n8n experience. We build everything step by step, on screen, so you can follow along and create the workflows yourself.By the end, my goal is simple: you should be able to open a blank n8n canvas, look at a problem you want to automate, and know how to start building the solution yourself.
